Meet Your Grief and Trauma Therapist, Sara Wilper.

Sara Wilper smiles, wearing a dark green shirt and black blazer.

Hello. I’m so happy you’re here. It means you are taking steps to improve your life and the world you live in. I’m honored that you are considering me to walk with you on that journey.

I have over 20 years of experience in mental health and have been trained in a variety of techniques to help you get where you want to go emotionally. Even with all my experience and training, I know that 80% of client success is the relationship you have with your therapist. That’s why I encourage showing up as our authentic selves. You may find me wearing my favorite hoodie or with one of my dogs laying in the background. And I encourage you to come as you are; to be yourself when we discuss and understand your challenges together. This is all done through a confidential telehealth program for your convenience. Simply log into the provided link each session and meet with me from wherever you feel most comfortable.

I look forward to meeting with you as we work to address your unique challenges and build the life you want to live.

More than 50 million Americans struggle with mental illness.

Mental illnesses can affect people of any age, race, religion, or income. A mental illness is a medical condition that disrupts a person’s thinking, feeling, mood, and ability to relate to others and daily functioning. You don’t have to suffer in silence. I invite you to reach out to me, book your first appointment, and start your mental health journey towards wellness today.

No Insurance: Self-pay Only

Sara Wilper does not accept Insurance, she offers self-pay options for numerous reasons including:

  • Privacy: When a claim is filed with insurance your therapist must submit a diagnosis for that visit. This information can become part of your medical record and be accessed by other providers.

  • More Freedom: Insurance companies dictate almost everything about treatment and whether they will pay depends on your diagnosis. With self-pay, Sara has more freedom with patients to meet via video, avoid time constraints, allow parents, spouses, and significant others to join sessions as needed, avoid hasty diagnoses, and allow you to be seen for as many sessions as you need.
